Rita Catolino is a certified personal trainer, online coach, motivational speaker, fitness writer and cover model. Her passion for fitness and helping others can be attributed to having gone through many of her own struggles with weight her entire life.

After fighting a family trend of obesity, she decided to make a positive change after giving birth to her daughter in 2007; those obstacles into a positive philosophy shared with those who work with her. Rita’s clientele includes women from all around the world; from lifestyle clients to athletes.

In 2012, Rita had the pleasure of training New York Times bestseller and creator of the Eat Clean Diet, Tosca Reno for her fitness competition in honour of her late husband Robert Kennedy.

Catolino’s philosophies and ideas have been featured in top fitness publications including Oxygen Magazine, Inside Fitness Magazine, Natural Muscle Magazine and Strong Fitness Magazine

She also contributes to fitness blogs such as BodyRock and 6PackFitness for whom she is an Elite Sponsored Athlete.

Rita has teamed with another big name in the industry, Tommy Caldwell to bring listeners a weekly podcast based on women’s health issues. The podcast’s goal is to help women navigate through the daunting world of fitness and wellness in a sustainable manner. (Subscribe on iTunes)

Rita’s competition background has included over 15 shows in the past 5 years. She placed 1st and overall at the 2011 O.P.A Stephanie Worsfold Classic as well as representing Ontario at the Canadian Body Building Association National Competition in 2010. Recently, Rita has placed Top 5 in both 2012 and 2013 at The Arnold Amateur in the U.S.A. and  Top 10 in the world at the Arnold Europe 2013 in Madrid Spain.

Rita’s passion for helping others and remaining current in an ever-changing industry is what keeps this fitness expert motivated.
