The Real Madonna
Where do I start with my latest #FourWeeksToFab client? She is more than a client, she is one of my closest friends who I started training over 5 years ago. Madonna, or “Mud” as we call her has always been that woman (well at least for me), that others look up to. A woman raising 3 teenage boys, looking after 2 homes, GIVING everything she has to all of her friends, family and others- and ALWAYS putting others first- all the while doing it with class, glamour and humility. Apart from her strong family values, Madonna has always had many strengths in the gym. I was a bit surprised when she showed interest in the program, thinking to myself, “she already looks pretty damn good!”. Then I remembered WHY I started this program- to help women see their true potential, to push beyond their preconceived notions of themselves, to step outside of their comfort zone and to find their CONFIDENCE, and thought, this is PEFECT for Madonna. I am thrilled that she decided to do this! Its not about the 8 pounds she lost, it’s about the confidence she gained. She even wore shorts to the gym the other day for the first time in years, which made me smile:) Madonna, take it away! oh….and did I mention that she is 50????? 🙂
“Health and fitness have been a focus for me for some time. While I’ve had some success I still hadn’t achieved all of my goals. Looking in the mirror at 50 I knew if I was going to make it happen the time was now. I never imagined what 4 weeks to fab would mean to me and how empowered it would make me feel!! This program was more than I expected and exactly what I needed to get back on track. Not only did I exceed my goals but with each passing week and challenges along the way I felt stronger both physically and mentally!
The positive energy and support of the entire group was contagious and so motivating.
Rita is an incredible coach and mentor. She is genuine… she is real…she is a powerhouse! Her passion, talent and drive motivates me to want to be my best.
Coach C…thanks for believing in me.”
