Where do I start with Carmela? Carmela and I have know each other through the local Italian community and from a previous employment. This summer, while drowning with my “to-do list” and expanding career, I decided to look for an assistant who would make my life easier. I thought immediately about Carmela, not because she is a fitness buff, but because she was someone who was very organized, loved to help others in a nurturing way and of course, get the job done in the most efficient, cost-saving and best way. She truly was a heaven sent. I saw Carmela’s yearning to learn more about fitness and nutrition throughout our time together. I recognised that she herself wanted to experience what my clients do. I offered several times to help her out, but one thing I do know is that until you are ready for a change, no one can make you. It wasn’t until almost 8 months of working together, and the debut of the 4WeeksToFab program that Carmela showed interest. YEAH!!!! I was thrilled. I knew she would be a challenge in her own right; not loving exercise, no access to gym and as all good Italian women, loving her daily red wine dose. But, where there is a will, there is a way!! I created a plan to fit her lifestyle, her limited equipment and her goals. I am so thrilled with her results, but more than that, her dedication to herself and her body, after spending most of her life taking care of others. I know that Carmela continues to live her new lifestyle….I am sure with a vino added to that list every once in a while. Grazie per fidarti di me!!!!
“I have known Rita for many years now and not only is she beautiful, but she is passionate and caring and very focused. I have been fortunate enough to observe and listen to women’s testimonials and transformations. They spoke about weight loss, loss of inches, but what I always heard most was the confidence, the belief in their own beauty and the strength both physically and mentally that was achieved in Rita’s programs. And that is exactly what she did for me. I told Rita that I would be her biggest challenge as I had no commitment to exercising. I had joined a gym twice only to be interested for a couple of months and then let the membership expire. I wanted to tone up but gyms and personal trainers intimidated me. Finally at the age of 52, I realized that it was time to think of me and my health. I joined the 4 weeks to Fab and I lost 6lbs, and 5 inches but what I gained is far more important. I learned how to exercise and how to eat so that my body could fuel itself and burn calories. I finally understood endorphins, and loved the extra energy and confidence. I feel strong and I will continue to become stronger and leaner with the knowledge and inspiration that Rita has provided me with. I understand now that this is a lifestyle change not just a 4 week program. As for the photoshoot, every woman should have one at least once in their life. If you don’t believe me-look at the pictures, the confidence, the beauty, the strength and the smiles say it all.
