Gershon the Great!
When my friend Marc Megna contacted me about providing online support for his friend Gershon, I was honoured that Marc trusted me enough to send me his friends and clients. I was also fearful, which is something I have learned to stop letting get in the way of life and success. My senseless fear was because he was a doctor with many restrictions (one of which being Kosher), a man (I tend to feel more comfortable training women), and with a huge love for coffee and chocolate. I decided to challenge myself and am I ever glad I did! Gershon has proven to be an AMAZING client, who is one of the most determined individuals I know. His new sense of energy is definitely contagious, as his wife, children, sister and friends are now contacting me! Thank you Gershon for trusting me with your health and fitness goals and for your exuberant energy felt all the way here in Canada via the internet. Of course, thank you to Marc, who is one of the most humble and amazing people within our industry. #DreamBigNeverQuit
“Being a swimmer while growing up, I never had issues with my weight. Going through the process of becoming a physician while also having a family changed things. I would skip meals and eat foods that are nutritiously poor. I would feel sluggish and try to catch up with caffeine. With Rita’s help I have been able to incorporate great eating habits in my very demanding schedule. I eat frequently and all the food is very high quality and nutritious. Rita helped me in creating a plan that would work with my personality, schedule (mostly crazy), and diet (kosher restriction and love for chocolate :)) If you are thinking “I can’t do it- not with my schedule, not on the road, not while traveling- with Rita’s help- you definitely can!! Rita is exceptional in her ability to create a plan for the individual’s needs. I am proud to say the following:
*I feel happy, energetic, slim, and I definitely love the fit of my new clothes!
*I know that I provide a better care for my patients by maintaining high energy throughout the day.
*The nutrition changes that I made is my application of Steven Covey’s habit of “Sharpen the Saw” for preventative care for myself. I also enjoy guiding my friends who see my transformation.
* One of my interests in medicine in obesity prevention in Pediatrics. I am happy to practice what I preach!
Thank you Rita for giving me the tools, support and great ideas.
