Tena
Tena already incorporated fitness into her life, but needed to iron out some details like proper nutrition, not over training and finding some balance and indulgence without the guilt! We achieved all of this and more!! Her pictures speak for themselves! Take it away Tena.
“I am not sure where to start, but “I loved your Program”. When I reached out to you my ultimate goal was to enter the fitness shoot healthy and looking my best. Well, the photos and compliments say that I accomplished just that! My fitness journey started in March of 2008 after I was teased for having “football shoulders”, which, to me was not a compliment. Now my shoulders are smoking..(I think…lol)
At the beginning of my journey, my food habits were not great. My bad habit was eating too many Mars bars in a day, or stopping at Taco Bell on the way home from the night shift. After the football comment I decided to do something about it. I started running the basement stairs and bought my first fitness book by Denise Austin. The rest just sort of snowballed. I somehow ended up finding Robert Kennedy’s magazine, Oxygen, and that became the staple in my fitness journey. I met Bob at a fitness show and he gave me a big hug and complimented me, and that memory along with a photo of us hangs in my workout room. It reminds me that I can do it, and that I am alive and have a choice to make time for myself. I also briefly met Rita and she gave me a once over and a wink 🙂 I like to think that wink was ‘hey good job’. You have made me realize that I don’t need to be so strict with my diet – I can indulge here and there and maintain and achieve my goals. The 4 Weeks To Fab program was very detailed and laid out in a very easy to understand manner. It incorporated, a variety of moves from supersets, plyo, Tabata, HITTS, and more. There was never a dull moment!
Thank you for showing me some balance in my journey . I look forward to my journey continuing and hopefully crossing paths again with you again.”
Thanks!!
