I always hesitate when a friend, family member or someone close to me asks for me to help them with their fitness journey. Don’t get me wrong, they are the people in my life that I MOST want to see succeed, however I am always scared that there may be a strain on the initial relationship, or that they won’t take me as seriously because of this. I am glad I didn’t let that initial hesitation deter me from training my friend Trish. She was on board, on point and nothing but over the moon grateful. I am so happy to help her after witnessing first hand all of her struggles throughout the years. Even though I knew many of her “healthy” nutritional choices and training regime were not congruent with her specific goals, who was I to tell her any different? I am SOOOO happy when she finally “bit the bullet” and joined the program. The 10 + pounds lost by Trish in the 4 weeks is NOTHING in comparison to the confidence and amazing positivity that she exudes now. I loved her before, but LOVE being around her amazing new outlook on life even more!!! PROUD OF YOU AMICA MIA!!!!!
“I have always considered myself to be in very good shape. Eating relatively healthy in the last five years as well as weight training combined with fitness classes throughout the years. However, after my 41st birthday I started to notice that my metabolism was slowing down and my clothes started to feel really uncomfortable. No matter how hard I tried, and how many BodyPump classes I did, the puffiness was not going away and I was becoming very dissatisfied with my body.
Rita and I have been friends for many years, and when I saw her Four Weeks to Fab program I hummed and hawed for quite awhile about giving it a try. I tried telling myself that if I really put my mind to it that I could lose that extra 5-10lbs on my own.
Needless to say the clothes I felt good in a few years ago were hidden away, and I refused to buy larger clothes that suited my “new” body. No matter how hard I tried, nothing was working.
That’s when I bit the bullet and made the commitment to do this program. I was very reluctant due to my digestive issues and continual bowel obstructions which left me hospitalized several days over the course of four years. I was worried that this would further escalate my health issues. Nothing was further than the truth. I began incorporating all of Rita’s tips and advice as well as strictly adhering to her plan, and my digestion has never been better!
I am pleased to say that I achieved my goal and I feel like a new, healthier me!!
The part I enjoyed the most was connecting with the most amazing women throughout this journey. We supported one another online and then met at a reunion at the end of the program. So many beautiful women on the outside, but more importantly these women were even more beautiful on the inside.
Thank you my friend, coach and inspiration Rita for supporting me throughout this process. You have changed the lives of so many women as well as my own and I am truly proud to call you my friend. “
