Balancing Act

Being a “fitness model” was never my aspiration or dream. Being a fit, strong woman who sets a positive example to those around her was. I am fortunate enough to help other people reach their health and fitness goals, while also maintaining my own fitness regime. I definitely feel as if I am wearing many hats at the same time; Coach, mother, wife, chef, entrepreneur, friend, model, bookkeeper and much more. This is a delicate balancing act that takes a lot of planning and careful execution to ensure that all runs smoothly and with less amount of stress possible! Many people wonder how to take that first step with making physical activity part of their routine. It simply takes some reorganization, an earlier wake-up time, a lunch hour session, or an hour less of television. The truth is, when you start, you won’t stop. When I don’t get my daily endorphin fix, I am actually less productive. However, after my early morning sweat session, I feel as if I could conquer the world, or at least my 6 year old’s newly found attitude. Remember, the lists will always be there, the laundry basket won’t run away, but your body WILL start to deteriorate a little each day if you keep ignoring it. It’s never too late to start; and all it takes is ONE simple step.
