Many times when people contact me for a transformation, it is rarely EVER just a physical one. Even if they originally believe that their reaching out is for a physical or aesthetic change, somewhere along our journey together, a lot more gets exposed, and the physical becomes secondary. Stephanie was not unlike many other people I have worked with. Illness, taking care of others and giving your all to motherhood are all valid reasons why you would let your health and fitness goals slide. Or are they? I find that 100% of my clients find that when they are at their OPTIMAL selves in regards to fitness and nutrition (I never said perfect…just optimal), that everything else in their lives seems to be easier to deal with. You see, feeling empowered with your body and having the energy, fuel and and endorphins make the rest of life that much easier. Dealing with a sick loved one DOES not become easier if you ignore your own health. I love that Stephanie took her situation into her own hands and can NOW better help those around her. I always tell my clients- make sure your OXYGEN MASK is on before you help others.
“I loved seeing so many of Rita’s posts on social media, and watching as so many beautiful woman were taking control of their lives with her help. I wanted to feel healthy, fit and beautiful. I was in a rut. After my third child (not a baby anymore and I could no longer say “I just had a baby”), the weight was harder to lose. Life was busy and I was just lost. My husband was diagnosed with cancer in the fall of last year, and working out and eating right didn’t seem like priorities for me. I was sad and had too many things on my mind and therefor gained almost 20 lbs. This past spring, fortunately, he was getting healthy which allowed me to come out of the fog. I knew I had let myself down and needed to be healthy WITH my husband and FOR my husband and our children. But, most of all I needed to do this FOR ME! I was done with the excuses. I emailed Rita without another thought, and took one of the last spots for the Spring 4 weeks To Fab session. I have learned so much with Rita’s guidance. First and foremost, that I needed to make my health a priority, regardless of what was going on around me. I was so pleased that our whole family got on board with her plan. I love our united step towards health. I feel stronger now, not only for me, but for my entire family. We will get through this all together. Thank you Rita for the “oxygen mask “. “
